Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Production Planning Lead OverviewThis client is looking for a Production Planning Lead to manage purchasing, planning, and inventory control at our manufacturing site. This role ensures materials and components are available on time, at the right quality and cost, to keep production running smoothly.
The Production Planning Lead Will be Responsible For:- Oversee buyer/planner duties for site production needs.
- Manage inventory levels and safety stock against forecasts.
- Maintain ERP data for purchasing and supplier integration.
- Coordinate with internal teams on demand schedules and delivery timing.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and risk management processes.
Qualifications:
- BS in Business, Logistics, or related field, plus 3+ years in planning or supply chain roles.
- Experience in procurement and inventory management within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling.
- Experience with GMP or cGMP.
This is a full-time permanent position in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metro that requires you to be onsite 5 days a week.
