Maintenance Technician (Nights)The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely troubleshooting and repair. The Technician performs troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. They also troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, and other water filtration systems. The role involves working directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, Preventative Maintenance Mechanics, and Sr.
Maintenance Technicians to resolve mechanical issues and proposing solutions to complex and recurring problems.
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment.
- Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment following Niagara’s processes.
- Maintain industrial control systems.
- Work independently and with team members to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Create and report repairs throughout shifts, complete work order paperwork, and document parts and materials used.
- Follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and machine operation.
- May fill in for production operator as needed.

Qualifications
* Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in a maintenance environment or similar.
- 4 years of experience in a similar position.
- 4 years of experience managing people/projects.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries.
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, rotary equipment, HVAC systems, and electrical schematics.
- Skilled in fabrication, electrical repair, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Education
- Minimum:
High School Diploma. - Preferred:
Associate’s Degree in manufacturing or related field.
