Our Dallas, Texas, facility creates custom luxury furniture and delivers it to customers' homes in about 30 days, blending the best technology, efficient systems, and state‑of‑the‑art craftsmanship to provide beautiful styles, innovative mechanisms, and a range of custom options.

The upholsterer must be able to work in a climate‑controlled environment, requiring continuous standing while operating hand tools and an air‑compressed staple gun to adhere leather and fabric to wood frames. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is required.

• Secure fabric and leather using a staple gun. Air rack and drill are used to assemble the final piece.
• Match cover material with the correct frame and upholster all frame parts.
• Read traveler instructions on product specifications, including medallion, leg color, welt or brass tack, springs or webbing, and other order requirements.
• Correct any crooked seams and staple bumps.
• Visually inspect work to ensure quality.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.

• Must be able to safely use air tools, including:
  • Staple gun
  • Air rack
  • Drill
  • Blower
• Ability to recognize proper nuts, bolts, and screws per style.
• Ability to work with welt on the front post.
• Ability to assemble frames and/or mechanisms as required.
• Ability to inspect work as being upholstered, including sewing mistakes and bad leather or fabric.
• Strength to pull hard materials onto the frame for long periods of time.
• Must check seams and quality when the piece is complete.
