Framer Night – American Leather

We are a factory unlike any other. Located in Dallas, Texas, the American Leather factory creates custom‑luxury furniture with a blend of technology, efficient systems, and state‑of‑the‑art craftsmanship. Our team delivers finished pieces to customers’ homes in about 30 days.

Under the direction of the Woodshop Supervisor or Lead, the Framer is responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of wood frames using a variety of hand and power tools. Framers work forty hours per week, with flexible overtime as required.

• Receive cut hardwood/chipboard from the machine operator.
• Read diagrams of styles and SKUs to determine appropriate procedures for attaching parts.
• Operate hand tools and large staple guns for extended periods of time.
• Count and report rejected parts (notify assistant supervisor).
• Sort wood to assemble furniture frames.
• Conduct quality checks on finished frames.
• Clean and maintain the work area.

• Manual dexterity with the ability to operate hand and power tools, including staple guns.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all departments.
• Flexibility to work a changing schedule according to production demands.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in cold and hot environments (non‑climate controlled).
• Ability to work with strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to use safety equipment and PPE in a production environment.
• Ability to read diagrams, drawings, and tapes.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
