Position DescriptionRyder is hiring permanent full‑time skilled Warehouse Pallet Repair Operators. The role involves repairing and assembling pallets using a pneumatic nail gun, powered saw, and other hand or power tools. Operators will stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and follow safe repair processes to meet company standards.
Schedule
- Third/Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday 4:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
Pay
- Hourly Pay $18.00 per hour during training
- After training: $0.52 piece rate applied in place of hourly rate

- Repair or assemble pallets using pneumatic nail gun, powered saw, and other tools
- Place pallets on the repair table, remove defective boards, replace with new boards, and secure boards in place
- Stand for long periods (8–10 hours) and lift up to 75 pounds throughout the shift
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 0–1 year in carpentry or construction background (preferred)
- Basic math proficiency
- Ability to operate power tools safely
- Must follow repair process and use proper lifting techniques (minimum 75 lb)
- Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch on a frequent basis
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8‑hour day)
- Able to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements
- Safely and securely repair pallets at a rate that meets company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate pry bar to detach damaged boards; use hammer, grinder, saw, and 25 lb nail gun to assemble components
- Manually lift 70‑lb pallets from a stack to a repair table
- Ensure pallets meet and pass CHEP's quality control audit
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards; wear all required safety equipment while repairing pallets
- Perform other duties as required
