Blending Operator
Pay: $22.70/hr. (7:00AM – 7:00PM) – Full‑time, Entry level.

Job OverviewAs a Blending Operator you will blend raw materials into PVC compound according to specified formulas, support extrusion operations, and communicate with various departments to ensure efficient production.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret the production schedule to evaluate upcoming compound blending and storage requirements.
- Accurately estimate compound needs to support extrusion while determining which silos or hoppers to route material for efficient production.
- Make adjustments to the blender controls and hoses to ensure proper blending for daily inventory reporting.
- Safely operate forklifts to move material to/from the blender area, scales, and warehouse.
- Communicate effectively daily with Maintenance, Production, Accounting, and Purchasing.
- Perform maintenance and cleanup for blending work and storage areas.
- Assist with monthly raw material inventory, monitor usage, and provide input for purchasing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in extrusion or quick ability to learn PVC extrusion operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and calculations.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
- Mechanical aptitude for maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, control, and conveyance systems.
- Ability to work independently, safely, and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
