About the role
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement to achieve manufacturing excellence across the organization. This role focuses on identifying and driving the execution of both short-term and long-term initiatives that enhance performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Productivity.
What you will be doing- Manufacturing Excellence Deployment
Lead and coordinate the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence strategies and roadmap at the site.
Ensure alignment with global initiatives and interact with global subject matter experts (SMEs). - Culture Development
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning through proactive support and engagement.
Champion methodologies such as A3 Thinking, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, PDCA, Six Sigma, Lean Concepts, and TPM. - Project Leadership
Lead high-impact projects using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies, tools, and techniques to deliver EBIT growth.
Drive and facilitate cross-functional project teams to:
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Analyze business processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
Apply improvement methodologies effectively for maximum results. - Capability Building
Establish a deployment program for LSS Black Belt and Green Belt resources across sites to support top initiatives.
Identify training needs and deliver training on Manufacturing Excellence systems and tools. - Global Alignment
Roll out business and Manufacturing Excellence initiatives in line with global plans.
Collaborate with global excellence SMEs to ensure best practices are adopted. - Performance Objectives
Achieve Manufacturing Excellence objectives for the manufacturing center, focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Productivity.
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience:
At least 3 years of relevant business experience applying Six Sigma and Lean tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a continuous improvement environment within a multinational company.
At least 1 year of experience post-Green Belt certification. - Deployment Expertise: Proven ability to develop and lead successful process improvement programs in a comparable environment.
- Auditing Knowledge:
ISO
9001, ISO
14001, and OHSAS
18001 Internal Auditor qualification preferred but not essential.
Strong understanding of ISO
9001, ISO
14001, and OHSAS
18001 standards.
