General Laborer PositionEMR USA is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support the daily operations of our yard. This role is ideal for a self‑motivated individual who can work independently while contributing to a team‑focused environment. The General Laborer plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient worksite.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with general housekeeping to maintain a clean and orderly workplace
Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and potential hazards
Support routine maintenance of equipment
Clean barges and other yard equipment
Follow all operating procedures and health & safety protocols
Perform additional duties as assigned
RequiredSkills and Abilities
Ability to use a variety of hand tools (e.g., snip cutters, brooms, shovels)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform physical tasks including working overhead, climbing ladders, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required
Previous forklift experience preferred
