Pipe Welder

Location:

South Dallas Area

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Overtime:
Saturdays as needed

Action Group Staffing is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder for a manufacturing opportunity in the South Dallas area. This position is ideal for a skilled welder with experience in industrial fabrication, cutting, fitting, and joining metal components.

Candidates should be comfortable working from drawings and specifications, taking accurate measurements, and using a variety of welding and fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Weld, cut, fit, and join metal components used in the fabrication and repair of industrial equipment
  • Perform MIG and arc welding as required
  • Operate plasma cutters, chop saws, oxyacetylene torches, and other fabrication equipment
  • Read and follow drawings, measurements, specifications, and work instructions
  • Measure, position, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding
  • Fabricate equipment, components, and parts according to required specifications
  • Build and use holding jigs and fixtures to assist with fabrication
  • Install or remove components and equipment as required
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work
  • Maintain welding supplies and notify appropriate personnel when additional materials are needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all established welding and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of welding experience
  • Previous industrial, manufacturing, pipe welding, or fabrication experience
  • Experience with MIG welding and other applicable welding processes
  • Experience with plasma cutters, torches, saws, and fabrication tools
  • Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications
  • Ability to accurately use measuring tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ASME Section IX welding qualification/certification experience preferred
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
  • Must meet required pre-employment screening requirements
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a hands‑on welder with strong fabrication skills who can work from measurements and drawings, properly fit and prepare materials, and consistently produce quality work in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Pay: $16.00/hour Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Saturday overtime as needed
