Associate Director, Engineering in Biologics External Manufacturing Technology, leading technical transfers, supply, and process improvements for biologics products across external partners.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary technical contact for external partners.
- Oversee tech transfer delivery.
- Assess process viability, ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Develop validation strategies.
- Support process troubleshooting, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Operations.
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Science, 8+ years in biologics manufacturing, process sciences, or technical support, with proven experience in technical transfers and biologics process operations.
- Leadership in cross-functional teams, Lean Manufacturing expertise, advanced problem-solving, and experience with large molecule operations.
- biologics modalities, vaccines, drug substance/ drug product, late-stage development or commercial manufacturing, process validation, and external partner management.
Remote flexibility with >30% travel primarily within the US and EU region; reports to the Director, Biologics External Manufacturing Technology.
