Factory Director Senior Leader - Greenfield site

We are currently seeking a Factory Director Senior Leader for our NEW Virginia, city of South Boston manufacturing plant. The role will be located in Virginia in city of South Boston and full relocation will be offered. The location is 90 minutes from Raleigh/Durham. The role is a $500MM greenfield project, with construction starting later this month. This new plant will be adjacent to other operating plants and form a large manufacturing campus.

The role manages all aspects related to operations of a manufacturing unit including the full scope of Health, Safety & Environment,Production, Engineering, Project Management and Production Scheduling. Accountable forsafety, quality,on time delivery, inventory, and cost.

• Manageoverallmanufacturingoperationsof the organization anda staff involved inthe operations of the factory,including SEOP process.
• Implements continuous improvement methodologies to increase productivity and reduce costs following the Integrated Transformer Management(ITM)
  System.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment for employees.
  
  Ensures compliance with Group health,safetyand environmental directives and that regulations are implemented, whilemonitoringand reporting progress and results. Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety. Instills in work culture (ITM) philosophy of how we operate
• Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenue, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates. Ensures thatITM maturity development training and methods are implemented into the organization.

• Engineering//technical undergraduate degree,MBA Preferred
• Overall
  16 years of experience with minimum of 7 years leadership experience. Transformer experience preferred.
• Strategic development experience
• Operations experience in a multi
  - Focused Factory structure
• Experience leading in a lean management system(or lean operating system or similar)
• Target base compensation: $200 - 230K plus incentive and allowances
