Senior Brand Strategist

TRG is looking for a Senior Brand Strategist to join the Strategy Collective. The role is focused on turning research and data into clear insights that drive creative and commercial outcomes, writing idea briefs, partnering across brand, media, communications, connections, data, and performance strategy to build integrated plans, applying evidence‑based frameworks, translating creative thinking into measurable effectiveness, and contributing to workshops, presentations, and pitches that connect brand thinking to business growth.

You’ll Be Doing
  • Turning research and data into clear insights that drive creative and commercial outcomes
  • Writing idea briefs that unlock creativity and help teams produce distinctive, memorable work
  • Partnering across TRG’s Strategy Collective, combining brand, media, communications, connections, data, and performance strategy to build integrated plans that move markets
  • Applying evidence‑based frameworks to make brands easier to buy and harder to forget
  • Helping translate creative thinking into measurable effectiveness through testing, tracking, and campaign evaluation
  • Contributing to workshops, presentations, and pitches that connect brand thinking to business growth
What You’re Good At
  • Critical thinking: separating signal from noise and grounding ideas in what evidence shows drives growth
  • Linking consumer behavior to business outcomes, and building strategies that influence both
  • Helping create work that is distinctive and memorable, because you understand that growth comes from earning and refreshing memory
  • Open to drawing on the best of marketing science from How Brands Grow, Building Distinctive Brand Assets, “The Long and the Short of It,” and The Case for Creativity
  • Listening and leading, open to diverse views but confident guiding the way
  • Communicating with clarity in writing, slides, and live settings

What You Have In Your Background
  • A bachelor’s degree, or a mix of education and experience that shows curiosity and discipline
  • Three to five years of strategy experience in a creative environment
  • A point of view on people, culture, and business
  • An eagerness to grow expertise in effectiveness frameworks (from mental availability to campaign measurement) and to learn how creativity multiplies effectiveness in the full‑stack system
