Full Time Onsite 4 days per week (WFH Fridays).
Location:
Farmers Branch, TX. Reports to the SVP of Corporate Communications.
As Corporate Communications Manager (Contract), you will help shape and execute Varsity Brands’ communication strategies with a strong focus on employee-facing and program communications. You will lead the development and execution of communication plans that support strategic priorities, client business objectives, and the day-to-day experience of our employees. This role is critical to delivering clear, consistent, and effective internal communications across the organization, and may also support external communications efforts based on experience.
WhatYou Will Do
- Lead and execute internal communication plans supporting strategic, operational, and employee programs.
- Serve as the primary communications partner for employee programs and initiatives across HR, EHS, Plants, Compliance, Community, and Employee Engagement.
- Provide trusted communications counsel on internal, operational, and change-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to research topics, align messaging, and deliver clear, actionable communications.
- Develop HR, safety, compliance, and plant communications, including newsletters and intranet content.
- Support employee engagement, employee ownership, and community events and storytelling efforts.
- Partner with external communications to develop Linked In content and adapt PR efforts into compelling internal communications.
- Write, edit, design, and distribute a wide range of internal communication materials and manage intranet content and translations as needed.
- Produce and support town halls, employee forums, and internal events.
- Measure effectiveness and apply insights to continuously improve communications.
- 3–5 years of experience in Communications or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and executing effective communication plans.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate across functions while operating independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Media relations experience is a plus.
