Content Marketing Manager

The Content Marketing Manager operates and grows Cyrus One’s external content and education platforms. This role builds scalable media programs across video, digital platforms, and long-form content that help communities, regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders better understand data center infrastructure and its role in modern society.

The Content Marketing Manager owns Cyrus One’s editorial programming and distribution strategy across platforms including You Tube, short-form video, podcast initiatives, and executive channels. This role focuses on building trusted, accessible educational content that helps Cyrus One show up consistently and credibly in the public conversations surrounding digital infrastructure, power, and community development.

Working closely with internal subject matter experts and executives, this role translates complex infrastructure topics into compelling, platform-native storytelling designed for real audiences — not traditional marketing campaigns. This role requires capturing real-world footage across data centers, events, and community environments to power Cyrus One’s content engine.

What You Will Do:

Translate complex infrastructure and technical topics into compelling, accessible content across explainer videos, interviews, short-form content, and long-form storytelling.

Identify key questions, concerns, and misconceptions among community and stakeholder audiences, and develop clear, credible content that proactively addresses them.

Own the strategy and execution of Cyrus One’s You Tube and short-form video channels, including content planning, programming, audience growth, distribution, and optimization.

Capture content on location at data centers, construction sites, community events, and executive engagements, and develop footage into scalable, repeatable content formats.

Support the development and production of podcast and long-form interview content featuring executives, subject-matter experts, industry leaders, and policymakers, with an emphasis on repurposing content across multiple channels.

Manage paid social campaigns focused on education, awareness, and visibility, using performance insights to continuously refine content and distribution strategies.

Partner with internal stakeholders and external creative and production agencies to bring content concepts from development through execution.

What You Will Need:

3+ years of experience in content marketing, digital media, social media, video content, or platform-based content publishing.

Strong storytelling instincts and a genuine understanding of audience needs. You can take complex, technical, or unfamiliar topics and make them engaging, approachable, and easy to understand.

Ability to translate technical or potentially complex topics into clear, credible content that builds understanding and confidence with diverse audiences.

Experience developing and executing content strategies across platforms such as You Tube, Linked In, Instagram, Tik Tok, or similar channels.

Experience with AI-enabled content and production tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Descript, Riverside, or similar platforms, to support scripting, editing, and content development. Interest in developing on-camera and field-production capabilities;
Cyrus One will provide appropriate equipment and training.

Experience partnering with external creative, video, or production agencies.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.

Willingness to travel as needed to support on-site content production, events, and other business priorities; up to 25% travel

Experience launching, building, or growing a You Tube channel or other video-first content platform.
