ROLE OVERVIEW

Join our small, mission-driven nonprofit as the Communications Coordinator. This role works within the development team to create, implement and manage the Well Community’s promotional strategies to engage its donors, volunteers and the general public in the Well’s mission. Duties include development and distribution of all promotional materials, coordinating promotional campaigns, tracking data and preparing donor relations materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and implement an annual communications strategy for both routine and event/campaign promotion
  • Manage and enforce branding and editorial guidelines
  • Design, write, coordinate and distribute all promotional materials including, but not limited to website content, blogs, social media content (Facebook, X, Instagram, Linked In), donor thank-you letters, monthly e-news, eblasts, annual report, Pray Well monthly emails and campaign and event collateral
  • Manage collection of photos needed for publicity
  • Coordinate video and photography production or services as needed
  • Manage projects involving vendors for printing, mailings and website
  • Assist with development events
  • Serve in program activities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
  • Two or more years in nonprofit communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a small nonprofit environment
  • CRM/donor database, Dropbox, Google Suite, Microsoft products and Canva experience preferred
  • Some experience or training in the mental health field preferred
