Job Overview
RN Neuro ICU Seasonal Night –
Baylor Scott & White Health – Dallas, Texas (Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas). This seasonal position provides nursing care to non‑trauma neurosurgical patients, strokes, specialized spine, neurovascular surgeries, and seizures. Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am nights. Patient‑to‑nurse ratio 1:2 on a 15‑bed Neuro ICU. Department specifics include a certified comprehensive stroke facility, unit‑based practice council, on‑site nurse practitioners, stroke coordinators, and an educator. Leadership maintains an “all‑hands‑on‑deck” approach.

- Seasonal weekly requirements are full‑time shifts/hours for the 13‑week contract (excludes 1st week of orientation).
- $1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time.
- $51/hour seasonal rate.
- Weekend requirements are the same as regular full‑time.
- The first week is Monday‑Friday orientation.
- Although this is a short‑term (13‑week) assignment, you will be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- License/Certification.
- RN – Registered Nurse with minimum 1 year neuro‑ICU experience.
- BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
