Registered Nurse | Pre Op / PACU at Baylor Medical Center at Uptown

The Pre Op / PACU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing surgery, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy throughout preoperative and post‑anesthesia care. Responsibilities include patient assessment, assisting physicians with procedures, and supporting patient recovery and discharge planning. This role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and preferably two years of critical‑care or PACU experience.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS required
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
