Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN – Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic – Full‑Time, Days

Join Texas Health Resources as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in our Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic. This full‑time, day shift position offers an opportunity to enhance your skills while working in a rewarding, educational environment.

Work Location: 8230 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 410, Dallas, TX 75231

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/wk)

Travel: Up to 25 % of the time to the Rockwall location 1–2 times per week (mileage reimbursement provided).

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • LVN license (required)
  • Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required)
  • Cardiology or EKG experience (preferred)
  • BCLS required upon hire
  • Knowledge of basic nursing processes and healthcare technology, equipment, supplies
  • Understanding of state law on nursing care, nursing practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures
  • Effective communication with staff and patients
  • Sound judgment and composure, ability to act in questioning or emergency situations
  • Positive caring attitude toward staff and patients
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism
  • Efficient time‑management skills
Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care using the LVN process and the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
  • Triage patient calls and communicate with the provider
  • Provide specialty cardiology nursing care
  • Collect patient data (vital signs, observations, responses) and report accurately
  • Prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms and documentation practices
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor treatment progress, and document responses
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
