Manager, Clinic Operations I - Dallas – Baylor Scott & White Health
Job SummaryThe Manager, Clinic Operations I oversees the day-to-day operations of a physician clinic, supporting three (3) providers and leading a team of six (6) direct reports. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations, high‑quality patient‑centered care, and compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in healthcare operations, and comfortable managing both people and processes in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
EssentialFunctions of the Role
- Manages daily clinic operations to ensure smooth workflows, efficient patient flow, and excellent service delivery.
- Coordinates staffing, scheduling, and coverage to meet operational and patient care needs.
- Develops, reviews, and implements clinic policies, procedures, and objectives aligned with organizational goals.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, supervises, evaluates, and coaches staff; supports performance management and in‑service education.
- Submits invoices to accounts payable, monitors cash collections, and partners with billing teams to support accounts receivable management.
- Collaborates with physicians, leadership, and internal departments to resolve operational issues and continuously improve clinic performance.
- Provides information to physicians, community groups, and referral sources regarding clinic services and programs.
- Investigates, resolves, and documents patient concerns and complaints, ensuring timely follow‑up and service recovery.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience building, supporting, and developing clinical and administrative teams.
- Ability to balance team and individual workloads through effective prioritization and time management.
- Prior healthcare operations experience required.
- Experience working in a clinical environment with physicians and clinical staff.
- Epic experience preferred.

- Education:
Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification. - Experience:
