Nurse Manager – Critical Care / CVICU

Location: Dallas, TX

Compensation: $84,849 – $127,274 / yr. (depending on experience)

Schedule: Mixed shifts (outside of standard business hours; flexibility required)

Relocation Assistance: Considered on a case‑by‑case basis

Are you a driven leader ready to take on a pivotal management role in critical care? We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to help lead a rapidly expanding Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) department at a state‑of‑the‑art specialty hospital.

About the Opportunity
  • Oversee a newly expanded CVICU—28 beds, high acuity cases, and ECMO staff
  • Provide leadership for a team of around 40 staff (within an overall department of 73)
  • Help shape a growing department and drive best practices during a period of high growth and innovation
  • Collaborate daily with a team of clinical experts focused on advanced interventions and patient‑centered outcomes
Key Accountabilities
  • Plan, organize, delegate, direct, and evaluate services delivered by adult critical care/nursing personnel
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary leadership to improve patient care quality, efficiency, and safety
  • Recommend and implement policies, procedures, and programs for continuous department advancement
  • Maintain strong, effective communication, and foster a supportive team culture
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives and uphold compliance with industry standards
Preferred Qualities

  • Passion for innovation and process improvement
Required Qualifications
  • 4 years of recent (within the last year) acute care CVICU/ICU leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (advanced degree preferred)
  • Current RN license (Texas or compact)
  • BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • CCRN and/or CNRN strongly preferred
