The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care, collaborating with medical providers and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include performing procedures, monitoring patients, documenting care, educating patients and families, managing evidence‑based practices, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
- Teach patients/families/caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translate complex terminology for complete understanding.
- Educate patients/families on non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepare them for future self‑management.
- Manage evidence‑based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality measures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes recovery.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree; BSN required with 12‑month enrollment and 24‑month completion.
