Salary: $85,000 – $128,000 / year (based on experience)

A leading acute care hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee the Medical ICU. This individual will provide operational and clinical leadership, ensuring patient-centered, high-quality care while fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment. The Nurse Manager will manage staffing, workflow, and performance within the unit, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct ICU operations and nursing care
- Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to optimize patient care and safety
- Develop policies, procedures, and programs to enhance quality, efficiency, and outcomes
- Lead, coach, and mentor ICU staff, promoting engagement and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality metrics, and patient care protocols
- Monitor staffing, budget, and resource allocation within the ICU
- 2+ years of recent critical care leadership experience (ICU preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred
- Current RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- CCRN and / or CNRN preferred
- Beds: 16
- FTEs reporting: ~45
- Reports to:
Director of Critical Care
- Salary range: $85,000 – $128,000 / year (based on experience)
