Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring a TX or compact state RN license and recent PICU experience.

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Care for critically ill pediatric patients
• 13-week travel assignment
• Floating requirements not specified
• No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Provide advanced nursing care for pediatric patients in critical condition
• Team-oriented environment within the PICU
• Up-to-date immunizations and documentation may be required per hospital policy
• Dress code and scrub color to be confirmed prior to assignment start

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent PICU experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• Professional references are required according to state guidelines
