Local Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - 24 Week Contract Opportunity

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Local Travel Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide direct patient care in a long-term residential healthcare setting serving individuals with complex medical, behavioral health, and intellectual/developmental care needs.

Multiple openings are available for experienced LVNs seeking a stable, long-term contract opportunity with immediate start potential.

OPENINGS & SHIFTS

  • 1 LVN Opening

    • Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 2 LVN Openings

    • Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Schedule includes an every third weekend off rotational pattern

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
  • Monitor patient conditions and document care provided.
  • Provide medication education and patient support.
  • Complete electronic documentation and computer data entry.
  • Deliver skilled nursing care under the supervision of Nursing Leadership.
  • Follow all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Support individuals with complex medical, behavioral, and developmental needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure continuity of care.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License.
  • Minimum 1 year of direct patient care nursing experience required.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo Identification.
  • Current TB Documentation.
  • Ability to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to complete FBI fingerprint background screening.
  • Must meet all onboarding and compliance requirements before starting.

CLINICAL SKILLS PREFERRED

  • Gastrostomy Tubes (G-Tubes)
  • Enteral Feedings
  • Foley Catheter Care
  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Medication Administration
  • Documentation and Electronic Charting
  • Direct Patient Care Experience
