Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Orthopedics – San Antonio, Texas

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Schedule: 13-week assignment, 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week
Highlights:
- Work in a busy orthopedic unit within a well-established medical center serving the South Texas community for over 50 years
- Care for pre- and post-operative orthopedic patients, including total knee and hip replacement procedures
- Electronic medical records system:
Meditech - Floating to other units as needed based on facility policy
- No on-call requirements
- Professional dress code with navy scrubs for RNs
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience required
- Basic wound care experience required
- Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
- Meditech experience strongly preferred
