American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility position requiring 2 years of acute rehab experience and TX or compact RN licensure.
Requirements- Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Acute rehab experience required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Uses IV pumps, EKG machines, bariatric beds, and medication dispensing systems
- EHR systems include Cerner and Epic
- Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Required to work every other weekend
- No floating required
- Provide rehabilitation nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, amputation, and major surgeries
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills valued in this role
- Royal blue scrub color required
- Report time is 6:45 PM on first day
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
