# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother/Baby – Texas
Start Date: October 20, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts, 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule, no call required
Highlights:- Work with couplet care on a well-established 70-bed Mother/Baby unit
- Patient ratio of 1:3 couplets (6 patients total)
- EMR system: CPN (Cerner)
- Collaborative team environment with charge nurses, resource nurses, admit nurses, and patient care technicians
- Minimal floating required; occasional resource nurse role only
- Travel assignment with Tuesday start date
- Active RN license in Texas or multistate compact license
- Mother/Baby nursing experience required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required
- NICU or postpartum experience preferred
- Experience with newborn care, lactation support, phototherapy, blood sugar monitoring, and IV antibiotics administration
This Mother/Baby position offers the chance to provide compassionate couplet care in a high-volume, supportive unit with a strong team culture. You'll work alongside experienced nurses and support staff who value flexibility, positivity, and collaboration. With minimal floating and no call requirements, this role allows you to focus on what matters most—helping new families thrive during a critical and joyful time.
