This role involves caring for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and post-operative management in a specialized ICU setting, with a focus on compassionate and empathetic care delivery.

Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week - Required Qualifications:
Must have 1 year of Pediatric Cardiac ICU (CVICU) experience as a staff nurse, 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU, 2 years minimum PICU experience, and certifications in PALS, BLS, and ACLS - Additional Information:
Unit features 27 beds with an acuity adaptive model caring for ICU and step-down level patients. Candidates must have experience managing arterial, central, and transthoracic lines, as well as post-operative cardiac management, including procedures such as sternal closures and ECMO cannulation. Typical procedures include central and arterial line placement, conscious sedation, intubation, and post-op recovery. The unit operates under Meditech EMR and requires adaptable, meticulous, and compassionate professionals. - Float:
Float rotation may be required.
