American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg night-shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.

• Work on a 23-bed Diabetic/Endocrine Med/Surg unit (6 South)
• Staffing ratio of approximately 1:5 patients
• Unit staffed with 6 RNs and 1-2 PCTs per shift
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule period
• Floating required to all acute care areas including med surg, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and ortho

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Strong time management skills required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• Provide general medical-surgical nursing care to a diabetic/endocrine patient population
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
