Description:
Telemetry medical surgical unit with 36 beds.
Unit staffed by 10 RNs and 4 Patient Care Technicians during day and night shifts.
Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6.The unit performs general medical surgical procedures along with telemetry monitoring and non-titratable drips.
All RN staff are required to have current BLS certification.
Unit may require floating to all acute care areas, including medical surgical, general surgical, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and orthopedic units.
Dress code consists of royal blue scrubs.
Weekend shifts are required, with four weekend shifts scheduled per four-week period.
