Position:
WCCTV is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to ensure products or services meet established standards and specifications through management of business control processes. To develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, monitor processes, and address any quality issues. Train staff and ensure compliance with regulations and processes. The QA Manager is crucial for maintaining product quality, improving processes, and minimizing product defects and service failures.
Responsible for the company EH&S program and compliance to all appropriate regulations.
Primary Responsibilities- Developing and Implementing Quality Assurance Systems: Creating a Quality Management System (QMS) and maintaining procedures, standards, and documentation for quality control.
- Monitoring and Evaluating Quality: Conducting inspections, tests, and audits to identify product and process defects, process non‑compliance, and identifying Opportunities for Improvement (OFI).
- Investigating and Resolving Quality Issues: Analyzing root causes of quality problems and customer complaints, through implementation and management of a Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) process and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality of raw materials and drive the returns process.
- Collaborate with all other departments to resolve quality‑related issues.
- Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to industry regulations, company standards, and safety guidelines.
- Managing and Training Staff:
Providing guidance and conducting training on all quality control procedures. - Reporting and Analysis:
Compiling data, generating reports and KPIs, and providing insights on quality performance to management. - Identifying opportunities to enhance product quality, optimize processes, and reduce waste.
- Implementing appropriate processes, KPIs and reporting to drive a US wide EH&S program.
- Setup and lead a H&S committee reporting to the company management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Certification from professional bodies like ASQ (American Society for Quality).
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Kaizen and LEAN Manufacturing methodologies preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements in the industry.
- Understanding of production processes and quality criteria.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control software.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- In‑depth understanding of quality control procedures and legal standards.
- Effectively communicating with team members, other departments, and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality control applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Thoroughness and accuracy in inspections, documentation, and analysis.
- Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines.
Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm onsite at the Company's headquarters in Richardson, TX.
Benefits- Annual base pay up to $85,000
