QA/QC Project Apprentice – Mechanical Construction (Field → Office Role)

We’re hiring a QA/QC Project Apprentice for large commercial mechanical and plumbing projects. This role is built for experienced field professionals (techs, installers, startup/commissioning folks) who know how jobs should be built and want to move into a hybrid role that blends jobsite work with office coordination.

You'll still be on projects, working alongside crews, inspectors, and test & balance teams—just with more focus on quality, compliance, and making sure systems work the way they’re supposed to.

• Reviewing drawings and specs (so the job gets built right the first time)
• Supporting inspections, testing, startup, and commissioning
• Catching issues early and helping fix them before they turn into rework
• Tracking QA/QC paperwork and inspections
• Working with field crews, quality leaders, and test & balance teams

• 3–5 years in commercial mechanical or plumbing construction
• Experience on hospitals, medical gas, schools, or large commercial jobs is a plus
• Familiar with testing, balancing, and commissioning
• Solid communicator who takes pride in quality work
• Ready to grow from the field into a quality-focused role
