The Quality Control is responsible for inspecting each weld and each fabricated piece of pipe to ensure that it is made per production sheets. The Quality Control position will ensure that all products made in the facility consistently meet customer needs.
Essential Duties- Inspect each weld for quality and inspect pipes to ensure that all outlets are located in the proper place.
- Ensure the overall dimensions and weld placements are correct as per the production sheets.
- Examine the threads and fittings on each pipe as per the Quality Control Sheet.
- Compare all products to the production sheet.
- Discard or reject products or materials not meeting specifications.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products for conformance using measuring instruments.

MISSION OF THE POSITIONThe Quality Control is responsible for inspecting each weld and each fabricated piece of pipe to ensure that it is made per production sheets. The Quality Control position will ensure that all products made in the facility consistently meet customer needs.

- Examine the threads and fittings on each pipe as per the Quality Control Sheet.
- Compare all products to the production sheet.
- Discard or reject products or materials not meeting specifications.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products for conformance using measuring instruments.
- Complete and sign off on the Quality Control Sheet for each job and return the sheet to the fabrication office daily.
- Stack or arrange tested products for further processing, shipping, or packaging.
- Read production sheets, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
