Bilingual Quality Control Inspector - Produce

Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: $19
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with Saturday availability required. Must be flexible to work different shifts as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a bilingual Quality Control Inspector with at least 2 years of experience in the produce or agriculture industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting produce, documenting quality results, and ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished produce for quality and freshness.
• Perform visual inspections and measurements to identify defects.
• Document inspection results, re-packing, waste, and rejected products.
• Enter quality data into computer systems and prepare reports.
• Communicate quality issues and discrepancies to supervisors in English and Spanish.
• Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure products meet quality requirements.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain inspection equipment and a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist with re-packing and re-grading products as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the produce or agriculture industry.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Basic math, data entry, reporting, and data analysis skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, with or without assistance.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed.
