We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee land and water-related transactions from due diligence through closing and, when applicable, construction.

This role will coordinate with internal teams, landowners, legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and third-party consultants to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead land and water due diligence, including title examination, surface and mineral rights, water rights, and encumbrance review
  • Manage real estate transactions from initial due diligence through closing
  • Review easements, leases, surface use agreements, and right-of-way documents
  • Coordinate with landowners, legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage third-party vendors and consulting firms
  • Track project timelines, budgets, contracts, risks, and deliverables
  • Support permitting, regulatory filings, bid packages, and vendor selection
  • Maintain project records using GIS tools, land management software, and internal databases
  • Provide project updates and risk mitigation recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
  • Three to five years of experience in land acquisition, land management, real estate transactions, title examination, or related project management
  • Experience conducting title examinations and supporting real estate closings
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or consulting firms
  • Knowledge of easements, leases, surface use agreements, and right-of-way documentation
  • Experience in energy, utilities, oil and gas, construction, mining, infrastructure, real estate, or a related industry preferred
  • Experience working with regulatory or permitting agencies preferred
  • Proficiency with GIS tools and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant professional experience
