Job SummaryThe Research Enrollment Analyst, under general supervision, is responsible for enrolling participants in research projects, and developing and working on independent research projects that further the goals of investigators and the research department.
Essential Functions of the Role- Coordinates non-therapeutic (minimal risk, survey, chart review) clinical research protocols with direction from the principal investigator and/or supervisor in compliance with regulatory laws and institutional guidelines.
- Communicates with research participants via phone calls, mail-outs and Internet to maintain the highest level of participant retention.
- Maintains relationships with targeted research communities and works with marketing on research advertisements.
- Screen potential research participants by reviewing inclusion and exclusion criteria.
- Enters new research participants in database and updates existing records; obtains and maintains consent forms and documents the informed consent process.
- Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, and standards of JCAHO, federal, state and local governments.
- Submits documentation to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) independently and follows the process to ensure approval.
- Attends research meetings, reads assigned literature, and makes presentations on projects at the request of the Principal Investigator.
- Works with PIs to initiate research projects; collaborates with the PI to establish and implement data collection procedures and protocols, and assists with the preparation of documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and submissions required for current research projects.
- Assists research physicians with study proposal development and helps ensure that appropriate billing and charging mechanisms are in place for research charges.
- Assists research staff to ensure that applicable study supplies are received prior to study initiation and throughout the study period.
- Reviews data for completion and quality control, and prepares data for further analysis; works with biostatistical team as needed to create projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; database experience preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive projects in order to meet deadlines.
- Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification. - Experience:
