Our laboratory has several exciting projects related to understanding how autophagyfacilitates the clearances of virus particles and promotes immune activation in the central nervous system toimprove cellular and organismal survival during virus infection.
We interested in discovering novel interactions of host proteins that regulate autophagy with viral factors at the molecular level followed bymapping how these interactions impact cellular and mammalian host response to virus infection.
