Shift Leader – Modern Market Eatery

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team.

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side‑work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required
• Exceptional communication skills
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others
• Ability to multi‑task

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
• Eligible to participate in our comprehensive health benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as life insurance and others! This benefit is applicable to full‑time shift leads.
