Located in the middle of the most prestigious part of Uptown Dallas, The Stoneleigh is a storied landmark with a rich and alluring legacy. Currently under a $20.0M renovation, The Stoneleigh will be reimaged and emerge in Marriott's prestigious Autograph Collection in early Q2 2026. The Stoneleigh will re-launch with expansive rooms, exceptional dining, and an ambiance that blends bold, timeless design with modern luxury.

The Stoneleigh will be the new home for the next restaurant from awarding‑winning chef, Chef Michael White. Chef Michael White has many culinary accolades including the James Beard award; 5 simultaneous Michelin stars; and multiple New York Times 3‑star and 4‑star reviews. Chef Michael White's concepts at The Stoneleigh include, the Lions Den, where each dish is composed with care, weaving together seasonal ingredients, global inspiration, and a distinctly Dallas spirit.

Overview

The Server/Busser is a multi‑functional service professional responsible for delivering a seamless and memorable dining experience. This role combines serving, bussing, and food station support, ensuring all aspects of service — from greeting guests and running food to replenishing stations and maintaining cleanliness — are handled with efficiency and care. Guests seat themselves in this dining environment, and it is the responsibility of the Server/Busser to welcome them promptly, provide attentive service, and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities
Guest Service
  • Acknowledge and greet guests promptly as they seat themselves.
  • Provide attentive table service, including order‑taking, food running, and beverage refills.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make knowledgeable suggestions, including premium recommendations.
  • Present checks, process payments accurately, and thank guests sincerely.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues quickly to ensure satisfaction.
Food & Beverage Support
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to tables promptly.
  • Refill beverages, coffee, and water throughout the dining experience.
  • Provide bread, accompaniments, and other table‑side items, replenishing as needed.
  • Set, reset, and maintain tables with correct service ware, linens, and condiments.
Food Station Responsibilities (Breakfast & Meal Periods)
  • Set up, monitor, and replenish food stations with fresh items throughout service.
  • Ensure all food displays remain stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Communicate with the culinary team for timely replenishment of items.
  • Break down and properly store or discard food and equipment at the end of service, following health and safety standards.
Cleanliness & Organization
  • Clear and reset tables promptly and consistently to ensure a clean dining room.
  • Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils to the dishwashing area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of side stations and service areas.
  • Keep floors, food stations, and guest areas hazard‑free and guest‑ready at all times.
Teamwork & Compliance
  • Support teammates by running food, bussing, or replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Follow Marriott brand service standards, safety protocols, and local health regulations.
  • Stay knowledgeable about menus, specials, and promotions.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
