Reporting StructureA Pastry Cook will report directly to the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef team with a dotted line relationship to the Sous Chef team.
What You Will Do- Prepare and plate pastries for service
- Set up and stock station with necessary supplies
- Ensure excellence in food quality and presentation
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- 2 years or more experience in pastry production
- Knowledge of lamination, chocolate work, production of confectionaries and baking
- Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of all food safety standards
- Must have a flexible schedule including the ability to work on holidays
- A great attitude, an eagerness to learn, and passion for pastry
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
