PositionSummary
The Café Manager is responsible for overseeing daily café operations while leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team. This role ensures exceptional customer service, consistent product quality, operational excellence, and alignment with brand standards. The Café Manager serves as a role model for the brand and is accountable for achieving sales goals, maintaining compliance, and fostering a welcoming café environment.
Essential Duties- Lead, collaborate, inspire, and train the café barista team
- Interview and hire new team members
- Work as part of an enthusiastic, fun, high-energy team
- Implement and monitor compliance with store policies and practices
- Perform administrative duties, including ordering, scheduling, inventory, and other operational tasks
- Open and close the café, completing all required duties and expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented café, bar, and workspace
- Achieve monthly sales targets and performance goals
- Prepare specialty coffee beverages of the highest quality, as well as other drinks and food items
- Maintain up-to-date coffee knowledge and clearly communicate product information to customers
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality control standards
- Previous café, coffee, or hospitality management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for coffee, quality, and customer experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including opening and closing shifts
