We are seeking a motivated and energetic Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This will be considered a field sales position with roughly 40% travel around Texas, and otherwise performed remotely.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry conventions. This is a full-sales-cycle role essential to driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. This position will primarily be selling into the Education vertical.
Responsibilities- Outbound Calling & Lead Generation:
Make outbound cold calls to prospective clients; qualify leads and generate SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads). - Conventions & Industry Events:
Travel up to 40%. - Email Campaigns & Partner Growth:
Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to nurture leads and maintain engagement; collaborate with the marketing team to craft effective outreach content; identify and develop relationships with strategic partners to drive mutual business growth; consistently track and update all sales activities, opportunities, and follow-ups in the CRM system; coordinate with Account Executives to hand off qualified leads and support the sales process.
- Proven experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar sales role is preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong communication skills and a desire to learn are welcome.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving targets.
- Ability to travel to conventions and events as needed.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) is a plus.
- Located in Texas (preferably Austin/Dallas area).
