Position Summary
Executive Protection Agents provide close protection and operational support for the CEO of a major client, ensuring personal safety across all environments—including travel and public engagements. The role requires a high degree of discretion, adaptability, professionalism, and physical readiness, with the ability to remain composed and effective in high‑pressure situations. Availability to travel regularly, often on short notice, is essential.
Responsibilities- Provide close, professional executive protection for the CEO during travel, public appearances, and day‑to‑day activities.
- Conduct ongoing security risk assessments and implement proactive safety measures.
- Maintain constant vigilance and situational awareness to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Plan and execute secure travel routes and coordinate with local security personnel and agencies when needed.
- Monitor and manage physical security protocols and systems at various locations, including events and corporate offices.
- Operate the vehicle in which the CEO and protection detail travel in a safe manner while anticipating threats from the environment or other drivers.
- Execute a combination of office duties and physically active protective operations, performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Respond immediately to physical threats, maintain prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, standing in public settings, and lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience and training.
- Three (3) or more years of experience providing physical security to high‑profile executives, public officials, or celebrities.
- Proven experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or private security.
- High level of vigilance and situational awareness, especially in public settings and during travel.
- Ability to anticipate and respond quickly to potentially dangerous or high‑stress situations.
- Critical thinking and decisive action under pressure, maintaining composure in fast‑paced or unpredictable environments.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong relationship‑management skills to advise and interact effectively with senior leaders.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel.
- Texas Armed Executive Protection License (PPO) – Level 4
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- CPR / First Aid certified
- Defensive driving and tactical training (plus)
