Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – B & M Management Company, L.L.C.

Responsibilities:

• Review service requests and assign them to the appropriate employees for completion.
• Complete daily service requests.
• Review the returned service request completion reports to ensure all assigned requests have been completed satisfactorily and timely.
• Establish and maintain an inventory of parts, materials, and supplies; determine which items will be stocked, appropriate amounts, and purchase items on an as‑needed basis.
• Record work performed on resident service requests accurately and in detail.
• Certify that contractor work is completed prior to payment being issued.
• Perform maintenance and repairs in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting, and other building repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

• Be punctual and present at work when scheduled.
• Maintain flexibility with the work schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with residents, prospects, employees, peers, vendors, and owners.
• Computer software experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and One Site.
• Basic understanding of federal, state, and local Fair Housing laws.
