At North Sky Communications, as a Technician Fiber Installation, you’ll set up and maintain the fiber optic networks that help connect people. You'll ensure everything runs smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and keep the network connected without interruptions.

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services based on guidelines
• Install, set up, and configure all equipment
• Identify and remediate sources of customer‑perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on‑call/after‑hours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver’s license (cannot be provisional) and acceptable driving record

• Work at heights; occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces; operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 55 pounds without assistance
• Occasionally use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
