Job Summary- The Irrigation Foreman detects and makes repairs to the irrigation system.
- Detect and repair the irrigation system
- Read and interpret various gauges related to the irrigation system
- Manage employees and oversee production in the field
- Ensure a safe environment for other workers and vendors, clients and for all employees
- Operate light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulations
- Ensure that equipment is maintained and managed; alert supervisors if there are any issues
- Report any problems with job site or equipment immediately
- Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as promote company culture
- Commercial irrigation installation experience - minimum 2 years of experience in irrigation
- Strong work ethic - Knowledge of blueprints
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Irrigation certification is a plus
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.
- The position primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions and noise levels.
