Fab Shop Combo Welder

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Shop Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Stick, Tig and MIG pipe and structural metal welding, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings. This is a full-time position working primarily in our fabrication shop.

• Perform welding tasks using Stick, TIG, and/or MIG techniques
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures, steel pipes and components per specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other shop tools as needed
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of welding experience (shop environment preferred)
• Proficient with various welding techniques (Stick, TIG, MIG)
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
• Welding certification(s) a plus but not required
