Description

We're Hiring a Forklift Mechanic - Not a Forklift Driver!

Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves keeping equipment running at its best? We're looking for a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team. Instead of driving forklifts, you'll be the expert who keeps them in top working condition while also handling general facility maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for experienced mechanics, maintenance technicians, or anyone with strong equipment repair skills who's ready to grow with a dependable company.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment (no forklift driving required).
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical (AC/DC) systems.
• Maintain and repair dock doors, dock levelers, and related facility equipment.
• Complete service logs and daily reports.
• Communicate part and inventory needs to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as a forklift mechanic, industrial maintenance technician, or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• HVAC troubleshooting
• Welding or fabrication
• Carpentry, painting, or light construction
• Experience with CMMS or digital work order systems
