Dallas, TX | $25.00–$32.00/hr DOE
Action Group Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic for a client located in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Repair and maintain conveyors, shredders, crushers, granulators, balers, and other material-handling equipment
- Perform MIG and Stick welding and fabrication
- Troubleshoot 24V DC controls and 480V motor controls
- Install, assemble, test, and relocate machinery and equipment
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential safety or maintenance concerns
- Assist with general facility maintenance and improvement projects
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs as required
- Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures
Candidates should have hands-on industrial maintenance experience with several of the following:
- MIG & Stick welding/fabrication
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- 24V DC controls
- 480V motor controls
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Conveyors and material-handling equipment
- Bucket elevators and screw conveyors
- Dust collection and ventilation systems
- Shredders and crushers
- Ball mills and granulators
- Balers
- Preventive maintenance
- General facility maintenance
- Previous industrial maintenance/mechanic experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, welders, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and equipment reliability
- Overtime and weekend availability may be required
$25.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
This is not an entry-level maintenance position. Candidates should have demonstrated industrial maintenance experience and be comfortable diagnosing and repairing equipment in a production environment.
