The Refrigeration Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX. In this role, the technician installs, maintains, and repairs commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include performing routine inspections, executing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and completing service calls in a timely and professional manner. The technician documents work performed, communicates findings and recommendations to customers and supervisors, and follows company safety and compliance protocols.

The role may involve working in varied environments, responding to urgent repair needs, and collaborating with other technicians and project teams.

• Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient operation of refrigeration systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical and system-related issues.
• Candidates should possess skills in Electricity to work safely with electrical components, controls, and wiring associated with refrigeration equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair to perform component replacements, system adjustments, and corrective actions on commercial and industrial units.
• Candidates should possess skills in HVAC to understand related heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems connected to refrigeration operations.
• Relevant technical certification or trade school training in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems, supermarkets, or cold storage environments is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools safely.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting, standing, and working in cold environments.
• Strong attention to safety, effective communication skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
